Asian woman said she was from bt and my internet connection was compromised, told her she was telling lies and what was my name. She got agitated and eventually hung up.

Asian guy saying there was something wrong with my internet. Asked if the lights on the router were blue or green. Didn't know what to say when replied white.lol Went on about my Broadband. I told him who I worked for and told them I would get in contact with my provider and he hung up. Shower of scammers. Unreal what they will do to get access into your system.????????

Missed call whilst out, with no message left. Having read other people's experiences, I have been plagued with calls claiming to be from the 'Tehnical Dept at BT', so assume this was of the same ilk, and have blocked the number. Potentially very, very dangerous.

An Indian guy called Mark said he was from BT and that my internet connection would be closed down in a few days because it had been compromied. I told him to close it down right now and he then hung up. I am being plagued by this scam ringing me multiple times every day

Very strong Indian speaker who claimed he was from BT doing me a favour by telling me I had a problem with my internet. Wished to know how many lights were lit on my router. Only way to stop was by telling him to go home. He wished me a good day and I reciprocated. Time something was done by the authorities to STOP these type of calls.

Female sounding Asian person calling themself Alan said was from BT internet department warning me that my ip address was being used by other people. Asked me to log on in front of my hub and would show me who is using it. When i said i had nothing connected they hung up.
