SCAM claim to be from BT Open Reach and state i have problem with security on my internet line. When they were in process of transferring my call to a senior technician I hung up. I was given this number by an Asian guy, Mr.Wilson saying it was BT customer services after querying the call he made from 01596137546 saying there were problems with my router. Time these scammers were dealt with, reporting seems to have no effect!

I found this number on the BT website whilst looking for a number in order to cancel my landline. I then Googled this number and it came up on this site.It is a legitimate BT number that users can ring from abroad as an alternative to the BT 0800 number. I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them.
