A man phoned saying my windows had been damaged by a virus and that if I gave him all my bank details he would get it all fixed for me. Imagine my surprise when all the windows in my house had been replaced for free although my bank account is currently off line.

telling me I have malicious software on my windows computer (I don't have one). persisted with the call asking where the information was from, do they have an ip address or a computer reference and in the end the lady hung up on me. the accent was Asian and It was a lady. Don't get caught out!!

12.04.18 Received call from this number. Caller gave his name ???? spoke with poor Asian accent asking me to confirm my name, which he already knew! Also what my age group was? Do I bank with Lloyds or Barclays? I said 'no' this doesn't sound like a genuine call he hung up. Definitely suspect, probably collecting (or trying to) another little slice of information to build a fraudulent claim somewhere. #Number blocked.
