I received their call at 18:34 hours this evening. Jerks! I m subscribed to the Telephone Preference Service too. I stupidly answered this call BUT there was apparently nobody there! Must be using some kind of auto-dialler but they don t EVEN know how to use that effectively! They don t even try to train these scammers! It s outrageous! If only we could have ALL these nuisance calls automatically re-routed to 10 Downing Street then perhaps something would actually be done about them!

Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal.
